Formed from the ashes of Pub Rock stalwarts Ducks Deluxe, The Motors were one of those bands very difficult to classify – not Punk, too heavy for New Wave too pop for Heavy Metal, too loud for pop and too ugly to be pop stars! Whatever the tag they wrote some great songs and scored some chart hits in the process not least with the Top Ten "Airport” and the Top 20 "Forget About You”.
